Hi friends

can anyone tell me where could i get complete list of Oracle error messages..



i mean when we receive error such as ORA-10154 or any like such then we can open that file & look into it ..i know that when we receive such message then we usually look into an HTML file like ORAERROR.html but unfortunately i have not that file

so pls you guys tell me where could i get this file.

Go to http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/index.html,
press 'search' near first red arrow, press 'home' in top right corner, that will take your to On-line documentation including "Look up an error message".

The documentation is available as a down-loadable zip. It is a good idea to download this once every year or so and have most of the doco on your PC. You still need to have on-line access to use the full search engine.

I couldn't see ORA-10154 in the 'Oracle9i Database On-line Documentation (Release 2 (9.2))' list of errors so I did a search on google and found http://www.orafaq.net/usenet/comp.databases.oracle.server/2003/02/16/1468.htm. Remember to place the string in quotes, ie 'ORA-10154', otherwise the hyphen is taken as a NOT operator (I think), as a separator anyway.
