I have a PRE-UPDATE trigger which basically creates a record in a table whenever a record is being modified.
The problem is that I have users who only have query access more or less (select privileges only). Everytime they carryout a query in a certain way, it updates a field in another block in order to keep track of the last query done but when they recall this query and change to a different record it seems as though they are updating the record. I need to know if I should clear that block or something. Give me some guidance please anyone.
