I need to monitor an instance of Oracle and see the SQL statements being received, in real-time, to help me out in troubeshooting an application.

Please, help.

Please have a look here
you can change the scriot easily to fit your need.

u may want to write a simple wrapper around this sql
to schedule this in cron or anysceduler or dbms_job
to run between a start_time and end_time and spool the output, so that it can be mailed to u.
