I am getting the following error message, when I try to start the database. We have a file system corruption on the Unix machine, which we fixed using 'fsck -y'. It fixed the file system but screwed up the control files. Please help. What are these version numbers and how do I fix them.
ORA-00214: controlfile '/ora01/app/oracle/product/8.0.5/oradata/WG8/control01.ctl' version 321220 inconsistent with file '/ora03/app
