Hi,

I am new to Oracle and installed Oracle 9i recently. When I tried to start Oracle http server I am getting this error message:
"Syntax error on line 92 of d:/oracle/ora92/sqlplus/admin/isqlplus.conf:
Failed to creat FastCGI application accept mutex"

Could anyone help me solving this.

Thanks
Kiran.

If you're on a Windows box, check whether the Oracle HTTP Server is already running as a service in the background. By default, the installation will run these services automatically.

Oracle advises to set the HTTP service to "manual" and use the icons in your program group only.
