Can anybody please tell if there is a way to apply / configure SAN with Oracle?  A post of May 2001 which says "..Oracle has a NAS validation process under OSCP, and Oracle currently does NOT validate or certify any SAN products..."

has this now changed?

Hi,

Most likely because special certification is required before anyone would trust a NAS (NFS Mounted) product. On the other hand, I don't think any special certification is needed for SAN storage.

For a list of OSCP (Oracle Storage Compatibility Program) vendors - see http://otn.oracle.com/deploy/availability/htdocs/vendors.html

Best regards.
