I try to import the large table with one clob field. In about 2 ours of loading appears this message:

IMP-00009: abnormal end of export file
IMP-00020: long column too large for column buffer size (22)
Import terminated successfully with warnings.

I set buffer = 10000, buffer=1000000, but it does not help.
Can anyone help?

Hi,

Increase the buffersize by 10,000 bytes at a time becuase too large buffersize may also give this error.

This is what oracle recommends.

Thanks. I knew it. But it is too long operation. It takes 2 hours to get an error since the import starts. So I have no time to increase with this step (by 10000). The database must work now!
There is one more parameter for import - RECORDLENGTH. May it help? I have not seen sufficient help for it.
