When i checked on file number and the data block i found that that the file belongs to temporary tablespace . I get data block corrution error quiet often and all is for temp tablepace data file .

I thought to create another tablepace and assign to the user but for some time I assigned data tablepace as TEMP but it started giving me data block corruption error there too .

please suggest .

Are these tablespaces located on the same physical device? What type of errors ? Do you have access to Metalink ? there's an excellent article that talks about dealing with block corruption issues.

See metalink notes 28814.1 , 77587.1 ,47955.1 .

Check with your Sysadmin to see if there are any disk corruption errors/messages.
