My boss gave me a user name and password and told me to set some env. variables before I start working on oracle(e. ORACLE_BASE,ORACLE_HOME etc.).
I surfed the web whereby it was written to copy .oracle and login.sql files to my working directory. I am unable to locate these files where Oracle is installed. How to connect to Oracle?

When I do sqlplus shweta/shweta it says sqlplus not found.

Please help me asap.

Thanks.

export ORACLE_SID=yoursid
exort PATH=$PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/bin
