HI,

I'm new to oracle, I installed Oracle 9i on the a standlone running with win xp. Everything seems working fine, I can create a database, users and all objects. Now since I'm preparing for the OCP sertification, I need to run the isqlplus environment (a web browser environment). In order to do that I need the start the oracle http server. So when I try to run oracle http server, I get this message error : Syntax error on line 92 of d:/oracle/ora92/sqlplus/admin/isqlplus.conf:
FastCgiServer: redefinition of a previously defined FastCGI server "d:/oracle/ora92/bin/isqlplus"

Ur help is more that appreciated

thanx in advance

When you reinstall Oracle9i Release 9.2.0.1, the Oracle Installer appends duplicate entries in the Oracle HTTP Server configuration files (oracle_apache.conf). Delete a copy of these duplicate entries and you should be able to start HTTP Server.

Hi,

I am also new to Oracle and installed Oracle 9i recently. When I tried to start Oracle http server I am getting this error message:
"Syntax error on line 92 of d:/oracle/ora92/sqlplus/admin/isqlplus.conf:
Failed to creat FastCGI application accept mutex"

Could anyone help me solving this.

Thanks
Kiran.
