Hi,

I heard in some discussions that if we are implementing XA, then under certain conditions locks get promoted  to table level locks. Is this true? If so, under what conditions.

Thanks

Devyani

Hi Devyani,

I have seen similar problems when using BEA Tuxedo middleware.
I think you just have to check the XA compliance.

Ilver,

Do you still observe the similar issue on your side or it is closed? If so, what was the solution.

Thanks
Devyani

Hi Devyani,

The project had to accept the shotcome in the application layer and did their own two-fase commit in the code.
