when i logon to database from sql promt  using sys as sysdba, then i m able to connect to database

but when i try to connect to database from DBA Studio using sys as sysdba, then i get invalid username/password error. however when i login as sys as normal user then it connects fine.

Pls help me

did u set the password file for sys?

Dear Mahesh , Could u tell me how to see if passpowd file for sys user has been set.
and if it is not set then how to set it
