It is easy to clone database with copying of database files from one machine to another.

Is there any native Oracle mechanism how to prevent this and protect again unauthorised copy (some kind of lock on hardware)?

and what would you do if you have to copy your db to another server?

You would need a workaround which alows you to do that.

But at the same time this workaround would totaly withdraw your required protection....

;-)
