Hi,
I created a new listener and password protected it.

Via the cmd window I launched the lsnrctl utility and said

START listener2 and it did

but when I said

STOP listener2 it says password not recoginized

Can someone give me the exact syntax to pass the password?

I tried STOP listener2 password= 'jkhhh'
STOP listener2:'jkhhh'

I am working with version 9.2 on Windows 2000 machine

Thanks

Scott
