Hi,
Can anyone plz explain the concept of schema in the Oracle database, or else gimme links for understanding the basic architecture and wat exactly is meant by schema..your help is greatly appreciated...

In fact, a schema in Oracle is the "same" as a user in Oracle. Each user has his own objects (tables, procedures, ...) and can give access rights to other users.

So the concept is: each user has his own schema, i.e. collection of objects of his own.

A schema is a collection of database objects that are owned by an Oracle database user.

Hop u got what a schema is. Let me know how do u identify the tables under a schema?
