I was looking at your article to find out the HWM of a table in this site, I would like to know something about the formula used to find HWM.
I used both formulae to find out the HWM of table, I am getting few blocks difference What’s that means?? I really need know, well when I did query tables dba_segements, dba_tables and (qery1-qery2-1) I got 78912, and I used dbms_space(total-unused-1) I got 79392, so there is diff of 480 blocks I believe. So what does this means? I really need to know

I would relay in dbms_space results if i were you.
I used it a lot and is really reliable. Why not to use dbms_space?
Best luck
