Are you operating your database in ARchivelog or Noarchivelog mode ?
How did you delete the datafile ?

Did you try to offline the datafile and startup the database ?

startup mount
alter database datafile 'filename' offline [[drop]];
alter database open;

drop optin is reqauired in NOARchivelog mode.
Do you have backup of the datafile or archivelogs ?
