can any one tell me, is there anyway that i can say that table is Fragmented. if it is then how will i de-Fragmented the tables. and what does "deallocate unsed space" clause will do

You can use Tablespace Map GUI utility supplied with Oracle8i rel 2 or Oracle9i. It will graphically show you whether the table is fragmented or not. You can ReOrg procedure to defragment a table.
