Oracle 8i installation error [message #58539]

Hi friends,

I am trying to install oracle8i personal edition on my PC (OS:Windows 2000) it gives the following error and quit from istaller.

Error:Invalid staging area. There are no top-level components for Windows NT available for install from this staging area.

make sure 
1. You are using the right version of software against OS.
2. You have a proper ORACLE_HOME.
   the oracle_home should not have any spaces or trailing spaces or special characters.
   ORACLE_HOME should be a single word or seperated by '_'
3. Make sure u have a virtual memory atleast 3 times of RAM and RAM is atleast 128 M
