Our server's disk system has 2-channel disk controller. Some RAIDs are attached: RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 5. Every disk in the RAID attached to definite channel of controller (0 or 1). In the OS (Windows 2000) the storage is visible as three disks - accordingly RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 5. How will ORACLE optimizator see the storage for applying Parallel Query? As 1 (one 2-channel controller) or 2 (2-channel controller) or 3 (3 RAIDs = 3 disks in OS)?
