Hi All
oracle 8i on win2000
I have the error
ora-01092: Oracle instance trminated. Disconnected forced
and the OracleService,OracleOraHomeTNSlistener
ar started (in Control panel)

Is that the only message in the alert log file? Do you not have other accompanyign messages?

the alter log file is an empty file ,and the error diplay when tyr to connect to sql plus

Hi All
now i am created a database in manually but when i am startup the database then automatic instance terminated and aslo show this error like "ora-01092: Oracle instance trminated Disconnected forced" please try to help me how to solve this error.
