Hi,
Recently I tried to remove a database link on another user's scheme by logging in as system and it wouldn't let me. It tells me : "CAnnot remove dblink in another user's schmema". I tried this even using the sys login with sysdba privileges. I can't logon as that user as I don't know the password. I'm taking over as a new dba here. If I reset the password of that user, many applications which use that id will fail. I don't even know how many applications are used to access this database.
Is there any way that I can find out the password for that user? I remember older version of oracle databases stored the userid and password in sysuserauth kind of tables.

Thanks
