i set up the oracle 9.2 enterprise server into my
computer. when i enter the username and password of the database in sql plus ,but it display the error message :
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

how can i solve it

first start your database.
goto to controlpanel/services and start the database services
else
from command propmpt
>

sqlplus "sys/change_on_install as sysdba"
startup
