Hi,

After repeating some BIG SELECT requests (interrupted by a client time-out),
my Oracle database doesn't free memory or something like that.

One way to go, is to stop/restart the Oracle Service, but it isn't very acceptable.

Why does it happens ?
Where can i look for the problem ?
And what can i do for it ?

PS : my configuration is WINDOWS 2000 (1 Go Memory) / Oracle 8.1.7 (SGA of 141 Mo)

Best regards,
Eric
