I would like to know where can I download Oracle 8.1.7.4 patchset other than offical oracle metalink website.

That would be ftp://oracle-ftp.oracle.com site. Login as anonymous with some password (e-mail address).

Then go to /server/patchsets and found the dir for your platform.
