Hello all,
OS: windows 2000
Ora version: 8.1.7
Fresh installation, after that trying to start the management server through services tab...It takes some time and returns a error saying "service did not return any error Error ...internal windows error .. "
I have started my OraHome81Agent also and then tried the same...its still giving the same problem..
Please guide me with the Right step.

hi in 9i,
I dont have a link itself with the name management server in the program manager..to start it...and when i issued OEMCTL start OMS from the command prompt it says invalid server..
Please help me out..

I am having the same problem with 2000 server and 8.1.7: but didnt find any solution yet... everything seems fine but service returns..
service did not return any error Error ...internal windows error ..
please guide me and if possible reply on my email
