Hi , in my oracle 9i on win NT sometime all of a sudden i get the error end-of-communication file. i've to close sql*plus and relogin (connect doesn't works)

All "end-of-communication file" errors will be recorded in your alert log file. There will be a trace file generated and recorded in the alert file as well.
Dig into this trace file for possible reasons, or post here for further advice.
