Hi All,
I encountered an error when I tried to do the recovery after the restoring the databases. the following were the outputs:
SVRMGR> recover database using BACKUP CONTROLFILE
ORA-00279: change 175676 generated at 10/10/2002 16:01:27 needed for thread 1
ORA-00289: suggestion : 34.arc
ORA-00280: change 175676 for thread 1 is in sequence #1974
Specify log: {<RET>=suggested | filename | AUTO | CANCEL}
Log applied.
ORA-00279: change 175681 generated at 10/10/2002 16:07:10 needed for thread 1
ORA-00289: suggestion : /u03/oracle/product/8.1.6/dbs/arch/arch_1_1975.arc

Actually the archive file '/u03/oracle/product/8.1.6/dbs/arch/arch_1_1975.arc' didn't exist in the backup. Does Anyone has any idea? Thanks for the help in advance.
