The runistaller (1.7.0.18.0) was not installed when one of our servers was upgraded from 816 to 8172. When tried to do the 8174 patchset "The staging area needs installer 1.7.1.3.0 or later" error was displayed.

Does any one know a simple approach to bring the runistaller to the required version? Is there a way to just upgrade the runinstaller by using the 817 Enterprise CD set without the need to install other unwanted options? Thanks in advance for any tips.

Just use the installer off the cd of the terminal 8.1.7 release, or install it off that cd
