sir,
We are having Oracle8i on HP Unix.
Previously we were able to excute sqlplus command at $prompt and we used to get the user_id and Password prompts.
But there was a problem with the system date.
It was 12 hrs. behind. and Zone was also different.
So we have changed the Zone of the Hp UX OS date & zone
After changing date:
we are not able to use sqlplus
Can any one help me out of this problem.

I would first go to here $ORACLE_HOME/bin
and execute sqlplus if there is no issues its then 100% your .profile which oracle is not in your PATH
