hi
i have used oradim utility to create instance ,and also specified the pfile.
since i already have anothr database the oracle_sid is alreeady created for the previous database and i cannot create a new sid in the registry.
moreover wheni try to connect using the internal and new password created by using oradim,the error i get is tns adapter eror
i need urgent help ,kindly enlighten me as to where i am wrong.

environment setting ... to ORACLE_SID ... For NT/Windows2000, you can try to remove Service for exites ORACLE_SID before use it back again ... hope this is helping .
