I am an OCP with two years of development and production experience and I know my way around Oracle pretty good. Can anyone give me a ball park figure of the industry standard salary for that kind of a skill set. I am going for a green card therefore I can't make a move... Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

For Silicon Valley, for experience as yours - $70 - 75K. It is full with DBA's fitghting for any available position. With much more years as DBA's.

Get something "hot" in your resume - HA, Clusters, JAVA, Oracle Apps. Entry level DBA's does not make much.

Hope that helps,
