Hi,

Where do we have to keep the oratab file in unix system? if we decide to keep it in some other place than the default one, what are the measures we have to take care so that oracle software can read the file when the system is rebooted?

/etc/oratab

I have no idea if you can place it at another location at all. Please post if you find any interesting docs.
