Hi, I hope someone can help me with the following question. We want to run Oracle 8.1.7 on a NT system (with 2 x 1.4 ghz cpu's). Our manager says that the Enterprise Edition is 2 x the price, for named user licensing, compared to the standard edition.
Is this indeed true?
Any comment is most welcome !!
Thanks!!!

I think the new license procedure is '$40,000 per CPU' regardless of the type of CPU and any hardware there in.

Check out the Oracle web site.
